What you are signing up for

Independent writing and practical tools on law, technology and regulation, normally every two weeks. You choose whether to subscribe and must confirm your email address before joining the confirmed list. We use your subscription information with your consent to send Code & Control and manage that subscription.

How signup and delivery work

Kit provides the signup form, subscriber records, confirmation email and delivery. The form loads from Kit only when you open email signup; the direct form link also takes you to Kit. Kit processes your email address and technical signup or delivery information, such as the time of signup and interaction data collected by its service. Your review notes, bookmarks and Change Mapper inputs are not submitted with the email form.

Leaving the list and your rights

You can withdraw consent using the unsubscribe link in any edition. This does not affect processing before withdrawal. Subscription records are retained while you subscribe and as needed to record consent, manage suppression of future emails and meet applicable obligations. Contact the author to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a question about your data. You may also complain to your competent data protection authority.

LinkedIn is a separate choice

The existing Code & Control newsletter on LinkedIn is managed by LinkedIn under its own settings and policies. We do not automatically transfer its subscribers into this email list. Signing up here does not subscribe you on LinkedIn, and unsubscribing from one channel does not change the other.
